Ash & Matt's Wedding Reception at Stoudts Brewery

I've know Matt and Ashley since our high school days. We lost touch after graduation and re-connected again through facebook. On December 4, 2011 they both tied the knot in the gorgeous Dominican Republic. After the Honeymoon Ash messaged me that they are going to throw a party back home for family and friends at Stoudt's Black Angus and would like me to be their photographer. I was thrilled! Right away I thought about how cool this party was going to be. And Stoudtburg Village. Love that place. The village is full of colorful artsy european style homes. A beautiful place for wedding celebration. I especially love how Ash had all the details planned out. She wanted all of the vendors to be local. And was planning on having a "sweets" table with whoopie pies, cinnamon buns, and long johns. She really put a lot of thought into the decor and ways to tie in their island theme. A few weeks before the party we meant at the venue to go over the plans, photo check list and timeline. She was in need of some table numbers and signs to match her colors, orange and hot pink. And I was able to help in that department :) I think the wedding planning part of the event was equally enjoyable as being the photographer for the day. So much fun!! The evening began with cocktail hour and a slideshow from the wedding in the Dominican. Followed by toasts, dinner, cake, and dancing. The weather and atmosphere was just perfect. Ash & Matt, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your special day. I hope I had succeeded in capturing who you are. I wish you two many many years of happiness and love!!!
