4/52: Imperfection

A major imperfection of mine since high school is that I compare myself to others. I  tend to think that others have more or were more successful than me because they were luckier / smarter / prettier / skinnier / more industrious than I was. I am beginning to realize that my constant worrying and lack of self worth is knocking me down. It is a bad habit that I need to break. I need to quit comparing myself to others, stop worrying about how successful they are and just be me, focus on my strengths, be OK with IMPERFECTIONS, start believing in myself and focus on my goals and dreams.

3/52: Inspiration

This is the window in my kitchen and the light this morning was just so pretty I had to capture it :)

2/52: Life

Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game.
~ Michael Jordan

That pretty much sums up my 5-year old's life. Ahh...childhood, the good old days ;) Maybe I should start living this quote more myself.

CELEBRATE MOM {MINI-SESSIONS}

I am teaming up with Lancaster Newspaper’s 8th Annual Mother’s Day Tribute published in the Sunday News. Here are the details for the mini-session. A gift mom is sure to love :) Email Jenny A Photography to book!

Favorite Face of 2011

I Heart Faces  Favorite Face of 2011.

This was very hard for me to choose but ended up choosing this little guy Trent. The family session was technically my first shoot with a child other than my own so it is extra special to me. My goal as always is a relaxed setting, no forced smiles and lots of fun and I think I achieved that fairly well in this image.

1/52: Resolution

This year, I've decided to join a 52 week photography project with My Four Hens Photography. I am really excited to and hope you will enjoy the next year of photos with me!! :) My resolution for 2012 is to quite simply bee happy. Stop sweating the small stuff and learn that being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.
