My Four Hens Project: 8/52 Light
I am happy to have a couple more days to enter for this week's theme, light. Been rather busy, and sick these past couple of days. Today as the sun was going down I grabbed my camera quick and took some shots from my bedroom window sill. I must say I am a sucker for lens flare and like the way this turned out...Also, I think it's pretty ironic how the word dream matches the action "dreamsicle" that I used to process this image from MFH Glimmer action set ;-)

Fix-it Friday
Such a sweet image. I enjoyed editing this one today :) I am horrible at remembering the exact steps, but I will do my best. The first thing I always do is crop the image. Then I used the cloning tool to match the hospital blanket. Then I did a background fade that I usually do with my newborn sessions. If anyone wants the tutorial on that let me know. It's actually a fairly easy technique and well worth the time! After that I adjusted the white balance using curves. I used My Four Hens Photography Glitter from the GLIMMER action set. (all processed in photoshop cs3) Finished up with a little sharpening and voila!

7/52: Wildcard (Play)
I snapped a bunch of pics at the local park this weekend of my son and two nieces. They had a blast and I got to the chance to be creative. This is one of my favorites from the day :) It is my niece Ashlyn.

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge | Hearts
Hearts is this weeks theme on I Heart Faces.com. Immediately I thought of the picture I took of the Huber family during a session last fall. I asked the family for a big group hug and just love how it turned out. I didn't see it at first...but if you look closely at the way Michelle and Ethan's hands are crossed over Emma's back and her hair dipping down kind of creates a heart <3

5 Week-old Hannah
I met Baby Hannah last weekend. Being 5 weeks old already, I knew that she was probably going to be awake the whole time, so I set out to catch all her adorable facial expressions and the connection between her and her parents. Here are some of my favorites from the day :)

Kylee Paige | 11 Days
Meet Kylee. She was such a precious little girl to photograph. So tiny and sweet, very sleepy, barely made a sound! I really couldn't have asked for a more cooperative baby to begin building my newborn portfolio. I had a lot of fun trying out all different wraps, hats, headbands and props. She had a little accident on the blanket towards the end of the session but well worth the mess in the end for the adorable photos.

I had so much fun trying on different hats, wrap and headbands :)
